Release Day!LordSpector on June 24, 2011 @ 21:43 After several weeks of work, testing, and cleanup Launch Logger is now available for purchase. At the low cost of $10 it is quite a deal. Random Madness!LordSpector on June 2, 2011 @ 20:27 The new php random qoute generator is now up and running at the top of the page. It is a fairly short application that gets a quote from a database and displays it at a point on the page. Each time the page is loaded a random quote is picked. Launch Logger RC1 is here!LordSpector on April 17, 2011 @ 6:12 Release Candidate 1 has been release to the wild. It is now ready for testing. All bugs should be out but just in case one more round of testing before it is finally release to main. The user manual and associated software are in the works now. Launch Logger BETA one is here!LordSpector on April 6, 2011 @ 6:12 BETA one has arrived. Time to get the bugs out. While the software is small it does still have some bugs. It is almost time for release to main. Launch Logger Pagination!LordSpector on March 25, 2011 @ 10:41 Pagination has now been included into the launch logger software. Just a couple more items to take care off before alpha is ready for testing. Happy Birthday!LordSpector on March 22, 2011 @ 20:45 Happy Birthday Heb, and I wish you many more. Launch Logger ContinuedLordSpector on February 17, 2011 @ 21:39 The addRocket Section is now working. It was much easier to correct all issues holding up the database entries. With two features working I now can work on the display portions. Since I can add to the database. I will be able to test the database and display portions together. Launch LoggerLordSpector on February 17, 2011 @ 08:31 The addFlight Section of the launch logger has been debugged to the point of making a connection attempt. It fails since the MySQL has not been started yet but, at least the first section works now. The addRocket page will hopefully be easier to rap up as I now has some more knowledge of the errors. With that knowledge I now know what to look for to fix several of them. The Second engine for the F-35 has been cancelled. It was a hard choice but, the engine is really now needed. In the future it may turn out that a second engine desgin will improve the F-35 but, the costs at this time since the United States can not afford it should not be spent. J-10 Figher fake videoLordSpector on January 31, 2011 @ 20:01 The top gun video and the scene from the chinese training video are obviously the same. The J-10 is not the plane in the video in my opinion as the plane doesn't resemble the J-10. The J-10 has forward canards and in the video they are missing. The video also has the same explosion as no two explosions are the same it is highly unlikely that is would even remotely be anything other than a copy. The least CCTV could have done is pick and explosion from a movie that most people has not seen. Ultimate SuggestionsLordSpector on January 19, 2011 @ 19:20 In the last 24 hours the new suggestions form had been up and running taking ideas for inclusion on the Ultimate Start Disk. The Simple form will allow the vistors of the site to give feedback as to the application the believe should be included. Not all ideas will make the cut, so if it doesn't make it on the disk this time try again with a new version or more justification. More updates have arrivedLordSpector on January 8, 2011 @ 14:43 More updates have been applied fixing some errors and also having having add some slight changes to the CSS behind the site. I have come up with a couple of other additions to the site that I may add in the future. Nothing yet on that however. Python is fun so far as I have only started to learn about it. I hope to spend more time learning Python as it a Power Language to learn. I have also been reading more of the AntiGravity book that I have. It is very complex in how the underlining technology works most which can not be explained and most which will not be able to be explain for a long time. It is all based on quantum kinetics which is a newer field and not fully understood or close to being understood yet. Ultimate Start DiskLordSpector on January 6, 2011 @ 19:28 The Ultimate Start Disk has been updated with all the lastest and greatest versions. While some might be in beta the start disk when updated will always be the lastest version regardless. Happy New Year!LordSpector on January 4, 2011 @ 14:37 Starting a new year already what happened to the last one. While last year came a went quickly hopes are high for a slower year. I wont count on that one. I have been looking a the Python Language some and it brings back some old memories of QBasic. The language is so much more natural than the ones I have been using like PHP and C. Virtual MachinesLordSpector on December 4, 2010 @ 11:48 VMWare Player is a very useful free tool. Don't believe me try it out yourself and see. The uses of a Virtual Machine are far reaching and overtime more uses will be found. Safer ShoppingLordSpector on November 28, 2010 @ 16:26 Shopping can be easy at home, but safely getting that product can be a challenge. Learning to be safe is not hard so protect yourself and still get those products. Snow, Snow, and more Snow!LordSpector on November 7, 2010 @ 21:38 With a winter weather advisory in affect soon, the snow is expected to accumulate. Only one inch this time but, it has been cold and more snow is sure to follow. Happy Halloween!LordSpector on October 31, 2010 @ 13:58 Happy Halloween all! Second only to Christmas is spending, Halloween is a fun time with all the frights. With Halloween passed the years end is almost here. Best wishes to all. Launch LoggerLordSpector on August 23, 2010 @ 21:14 p> Work on the Launch Logger is progressing and the basic layout is just about complete. More extensive work is still needed to get the forms created and then the hard work begins on the backend that runs the extire application. Newest Apogee VideoLordSpector on August 18, 2010 @ 13:59 The newest Apogee Video Rocket Tutorial is now available from their site. It talks about a new product the TeleMetrum. This device seems to have some very interest features and is upgradable through add-ons. The payload bay needs to be at least 29mm to accommodate the board however the battery included would need to be changed as it is too wide to fit. Choose a different battery is not too difficult and the connector and voltage must match the size and milliamp hours can be low it will just reduce overall time the battery will operate. Fear of ChangeLordSpector on August 17, 2010 @ 12:59 Fear controls most of what people do each day of their lives. Fear of the unknown, fear of change, fear of others, and this fear drives people. It drives people to do things that they normally would not. It causes people to make bad decisions that affect others in many ways. Change is good as we advance and learn more we can use new ideas and skills to make life easier. The key is to never stop learning and don't be afraid of change. Things will always be changing. Those that embrace that change first and with less resistance will succeed. Next Gen IPodLordSpector on August 17, 2010 @ 10:14 The Next Generation of IPods are just around the corner. It is speculated that this new generation will have Cameras in the Touch. It is a nice Touch ( no pun intended ) to include the camera. It was slated for the last version however quality issues forced the Camera out at the last minute. The Touch is a good product and one of apples only note worth products. The IPhone is not the top product anymore and I doubt that apple will be able to climb to the top of the pack again anytime soon. PhotoFast GM-7300 SDXC-to-CFLordSpector on August 09, 2010 @ 20:49
PhotoFast GM-7300 SDXC-to-CF is a cool addon to any DSLR adding the ability to use SDXC in your cameras Compact Flash Slot. The choices and capcity options greatly improve by this device. Not limited in using one type of memory can make purchases more affordable, by creating more compition for you purchase rather than being limited to one type offered in fewer locations. Money earned and money lostLordSpector on August 09, 2010 @ 20:43 Why would anyone have 74 EVE Online plexes in their ship and leave the safety of a station. The cost of plex is great and 74 is a hugh loss. It amounts to almost $1300 in real money. Jita is a trade hub and is known for large scale losses. Pirates attack ships in hope of destroying huge amount of goods in a as short a period as they can. CSS FunLordSpector on August 08, 2010 @ 21:54 More tests create more work, and the challenge of CSS is that it does not include all the features that is should. HTML was easy and worked most of the time. CSS works but is not always easy. The markup language should be simple and have all the basic features that were possible in HTML. I see the improvement and I also see the down falls of CSS in comparison to HTML. CSS4 will hopefully include fixes to the parts of CSS3 that are really lacking. That is a long ways off from now unfortunetly. Fly... FishingLordSpector on August 08, 2010 @ 13:00 Fishing can be a very relaxing experience as there is no rush and no worries, well...at least most of the time that is true. This video is not an experience that reflects that view. |
